We will not use your data in any way other than as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. The data we collect is limited to the data voluntarily provided by users when they interact with our Site.   4. Lists of user owned domain names, their expiration dates and the name of the registrar where they are registered 

The data we collected will be used exclusively for the following purposes:

  1. So we can address users in our communications.

  2. We use email addresses to communicate with users, provide support, answer questions, process listing and sales orders, to facilitate the transfer of payments and of domain names between customers.

  3. Phone numbers are used to provide faster support to enrolled users.

  4. We collect lists of domain names for the purposes of advertising them in an online marketplace for .CA domain names. 

  5. Domain name expiration dates are used to calculate a domain name's eligibility with respect to the period of time it can be featured in our marketplace. 

  6. Registrar information is used to determine and structure the most efficient way to convey domain names which sell. If the buyer and seller are using the same registrar a domain name may be able to be "pushed" between their accounts as opposed to needing to be "transfered".

Who We Share Your Personal Data WIth

Employees:

We may disclose user data to members of our organization who reasonably need access to the data for the purpose outlined in this Privacy Policy, specifically, to communicate with users who have contacted us for information regarding our services and or information related to payments made and or owing in connection with our service.


Other Disclosures 

We will never sell or share your personal data with any third party unless:

  1. Required to do so by law;

  2. Compelled to do so for a legal proceeding;

  3. To prove and or protect our legal rights.


How Long We Store Personal Data

User data will only be stored until the purpose for which the data was collected have been achieved. Upon completion of the relevant communications with users for which the data was submitted said data will be immediately deleted from our server. 


Implied Risk

While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure that the user data we collect is protected there remains a risk of potential harm. As with any network, the Internet can be insecure at times and as such we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical. 


Minors

Users of our services must be of the age of consent in the Province, or other geographic area in which they reside. We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from minors. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a minor, that data will be deleted immediately upon discovery.

A cookie is a small file placed on a users hard drive to track their Internet browsing habits. We do not use cookies on our Site.
